Benefits of the U.S. Military on the Move Program

Home Purchase and Sale

Receive a Cash Reward* based on the actual sales price of the home being purchased or sold, not a fixed price.

For example: if a home is purchased at $225,000 and the commission earned by the broker representing the buyer is $6,750*, the buyer will receive a $1,350 Cash Reward* at settlement. The Cash Reward* is 20% of the commission earned by the broker representing the buyer. This applies to home sales and sellers as well.

There is no dollar limit on the amount of the Cash Reward.

The Cash Reward will be paid at settlement.**

Quality Services

Receive quality services from Howard Hanna sales associates who specialize in servicing military members, who live and work in the market, and who are familiar with what's involved in a military move.

Global Service Network

If a military move takes an active or retired military member, or wounded warrior out of the area, we can refer them to a global network of over 500 premier real estate firms with 4,600 offices and 140,000 sales associates in over 30 countries around the world that also participate in the Military on the Move program.

Rentals

Although the Military on the Move program cannot be used for rentals, if a retired or active military member, or wounded warrior plans to rent a home, our Howard Hanna Relocation and Development staff can still help. Our staff will provide comprehensive information about the area, counseling on local rental practices, and will even send information on listings that meet specific criteria.
